Nearby, the historical market town of Hexham has so much to offer. At the farmers market, held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month, you can find local meats, cheeses, breads and many other delicacies, ideal for a picnic to take on a walk or lunch in your static caravan

Did you know that our Causey Hill holiday park has also been given the David Bellamy conservation award? We are having more sightings than ever this year of many different species of wildlife on our park, including a whole host of bird varieties. The world-famous botanist presented Causey Hill with the award himself, praising the park for planting hundreds of trees and shrubs which provide habitats for many animals.
Rarer animals such as red squirrels are often spotted by guests on nature trails around the park, and our wildlife pond has been a huge success amongst many water loving birds. We have also placed owl and bird nesting boxes around the park to encourage these beautiful creatures to also call Causey Hill their home.
With this in mind, we are planning to set up an information board in our main office on site, where our holiday home owners can list their sightings. We will keep you updating with our findings as they start to come in!
